COVID-19 Clinic Re-opening Important Info

In line with Welsh Government Advice we are planning to reopen the clinic for Sports Massage Treatments on 27th July 2020.

There are several important changes which we have had to implement following advice from our professional associations and insurance companies.

Full details will be emailed once an appointment has been booked so you are kept up to date but here are the main changes:

  • All appointments must be booked and paid for online (we are unable to accept cash at the moment)
  • There are fewer appointments due to increased cleaning in between clients
  • Prior to the appointment you will receive an email with a link to an online Covid-19 form and declaration which MUST be signed and submitted no sooner than 48 hours before your appointment
  • If you are a first time client, in addition to the above, you will be emailed an online consultation form for completion and submission before your appointment to facilitate your appointment
  • In line with recommendations, appointment time is being limited to 45 minutes
  • You will be required to wear a face covering or suitable mask (if you do not have one, please let me know ahead of the appointment so I can provide one for you)
  • Please wait in your car until collected
  • No hand shakes, hugs, kisses, bro fists – sorry it’s the way of the world at the moment!!!
  • Your temperature will be taken and recorded with an infra red thermometer
  • There will be hand sanitisers and you are requested not to touch doors etc on the way into the clinic
  • There will be no bathroom facilities at present
  • Only the client being treated, with the exception of chaperone or parent/guardian (if applicable), will be permitted into the clinic
  • Please avoid bringing unnecessary items such as bags into the clinic
  • All clothing will be placed in a box which will be sanitised in between clients
  • Please bring your own bottle of water as we cannot provide except in an emergency

I will be wearing full PPE for both mine and your protection, this will include gloves but do not worry as they will not affect your treatment.
